Because The World Needs More Netbooks: MSI Wind U135

The MSI Wind U135 is the first [MSI] to employ Intel’s new Pine Trail single CPU and chipset technology. Other features of note are: Intel’s N450 processor (1.66GHz), 1GB of DDR2 memory, Windows 7 Starter Edition, HDD storage choices of 160GBs or 250GBs, 10-inch WSVGA display (1024 x 600), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, a 1.3 mega pixel Web camera, an integrated 4 in 1 card reader, three USB 2.0 ports, and color choices of Silver, Charcoal, Ruby or Sapphire.

By utilizing Pine Trail, energy efficiency is increased to seven watts of energy consumption, 15 percent increased battery life (up to 7.5 hours with the six-cell option), and an overall performance boost of up to 10 percent.

A Wind U135, sporting MSI’s ECO Engine Technology, and a raised chiclet keyboard with 20 percent larger keys, can be yours for $310 USD. It is covered by a 12-month limited warranty.
